Weekly CG Challenge #124 “Colossus” has ended!

Topic Description
Colossus – High above the clouds, only the colossus can look unto places far away. He is a symbol of both man’s confidence and hybris. Colossus means here „colossal statue“, but the meaning has also shifted to persons of great height in general, someone impressing in stature. Now it’s up to you to impress us with your very own imagination of a colossus!

We pick three winners for each challenge. The winners will be announced a few hours after the challenge has ended. The prizes will be distributed like this:

We really liked the painterly style that holds this piece together; a clear and well composed narrative makes this a very strong entry.

Overall a well designed scene, with particularly striking lighting and colour composition. The image is unique in concept and has many spaces to explore.
