Topic Description
Fallen Kingdom – Once a prosperous and wealthy realm, this kingdom has fallen into ruin many centuries ago. The reason why is not entirely known to researchers: Was it a terrible war? The plague? A natural disaster? No one knows for sure. All that is left are the bare bones of ancient palaces and temples, ridiculing mankind’s pride, while the wind howls over them in the omnipresent mist…

We pick three winners for each challenge. The winners will be announced a few hours after the challenge has ended. The prizes will be distributed like this:

The 1st winner can choose 7 prizes of the list below.

The 2nd winner can choose 6 of the prizes the 1st winner does not choose, from the list below.

The 3rd winner can choose 5 of the remaining prizes, from the list below.

Prizes for this challenge:

1st place by Neil Lithgo
A really astonishing combination of 3D and 2D look! The character is technically well executed, the color on point and we especially liked the allegorical attempt on the topic.

2nd place by Vladimír Stáňa

Another dreamy masterpiece by Vladimir! He really knows how to stage nature and architecture together with beautiful lighting to create really unique pieces. The simple but effective animation gives the work an additional appeal!

3rd place by Thomas Zorroché

This artwork seems to come right out of a fairy-tale. The rich vegetation and soft lighting really succeed in creating a very majestic mood here.
