Topic Description
Cardboard World Imagine a whole world made out of cardboard! A child’s dream come true! Because you can build anything out of cardboard, right? You can equip yourself with an invincible mecha armor or turn your rusty car into a supercool vehicle just by using cardboard and glue. And there are so many more things to explore? What will your cardboard world look like?

We pick three winners for each challenge. The winners will be announced a few hours after the challenge has ended. The prizes will be distributed like this:

Prizes for this challenge:

1st place by Mathieu Staropoli

It was a close call but this piece in its combination of detail, framing and storytelling takes the first place. the lighting and color compositing are really nice and there is nothing distracting us. nice work!

2nd place by 劉奕宏

Another amazing concept art piece by Liu. the colors, storytelling and detail are amazing! you managed to take the cardboard concept and took it to a whole other level. be careful of the “lone guy standing over a grand scene” cliché though. amazing work!

3rd place by Malte Hedenström

Very nice lighting and FX in this scene! it really feels like a movie scene and textures and shaders are on point! only the general story and background fall a bit off the map.
Very nice work!
